Soo much better than before! *duck*

So.
I did have enough of my job. And I gave my two weeks, pretty much shortly after my last post and I HAS A NEW JOB.

Today marked the last weekday shift of my job. Now all is left is the weekend (those don't count as REAL shifts) and tomorrow-- NEW JEB BEGINS!!!11!!111!!!1 FECK YAH BITCHES.

My new place of employment is a local successful small business that offers a variety of services and I am so excited to start there. w00t.

I am going to miss the perks of my old job. I like my film. A lot.
Thankfully though, the market is so fucked and camera companies are so competitive now that pretty much all cameras are being sold above cost, so buying direct as an employee is useless essentially. Ye ye. So when the time comes, a DSLR will be mine... just not now.. BUT-- I do have vacation money... hmm.

Or money to dig myself out of the little debt I have. Y'know.. but... but...

Day Off

Okay, maybe this writing out the thought processes is not completely my enemy.
I have this Thursday off and I really don't work that often for someone in retail on weekends, so I don't mind it. A weekday off is a day to get shit done.

I originally wanted to go job hunting today. I was getting frustrated with my current one, however I had a really pleasant day at work that reminded me that I have it pretty good for now. It's comfy and I know that's the retail trap, but until I want to pursue education aspirations-- this will do for now. I just need to seek out a reason from a certain someone that would make me want to stay. Y'know?

While I work the day on Saturday, the night will only be an evening of play. October 4th to the 5th will mark Toronto's 3rd annual version of Nuit Blanche. An all night arts festival that started in Paris, France, but now happens in major metropolitan cities worldwide. w00t!
I really don't have anything in particular I am dying to see be apart of, Zombies in Condoland seems like it's right up my love of the undead ally. It's also happening at College Park so it's a non-heartbeat away.
And friends of course. And take photos.

Today looks like a nice day, maybe I'll go and buy some 120 rolls and be all indie and shit. (authentic?)
